I am passionate about art brining us healing and time for contemplation. Each series of work I create come from a personal place, but it is my hope that the viewer can too experience my work as moment in time to stop, take pause and connect.

Like many artists, I work full time and paint between life and work. With the dream that one day my art work can provide for me full time.

I do the occasional art sale and have recently had my first Open Studio. A selection for of my work is available to view and purchase at The Caledonia Gallery, Caledonia, MN.

Artist Statement

Inspired by our emotional response to colour, spiritual relationships with nature and the landscapes of the Driftless Region. I create abstract paintings on a mixture on paper, canvas and cradled wood.

My work often has texture, made using a varied mix of medium, from cold wax to sand. Mixing colours is one of my biggest passion, so I enjoy the challenge of working with a minimal palette, making subtle changes in hues.
