“Community in Art” - VIVA’s Member Show for January
January 2024 VIVA Gallery celebrates the annual gallery members show with a title of “Community in Art.” Member artists are invited to share their interpretation of what that means to them. Discover how participating VIVA artists observe and translate ideas of that theme, be it through photography, paintings, collage, or even jewelry, along with other media. It may give you a fresh, new way to see your own surroundings and community.
Art can be extraordinary and grand, and it can be the everyday. Maybe the idea of community in art will change your perception of what you see and become aware of when out in public space or even your own backyard. Along with visiting VIVA in January to see how individual artists interpret Community in Art, take in all the art that is in and on Viroqua buildings and in businesses. There is so much to see and appreciate in any city or town.
